Larry and Chris Deacy
‘Some other cats, they listen to Radio 2,
But I’m a cat of finer taste and tune in, as do you,
To Chris Deacy on Cabin, when I’m stressed at Number 10,
For his dulcet tones are much like mine, they bring out inner Zen.
Such soothing chat and lively tunes, I always say to Keir,
This Deacy chap is quite switched on, he really brings me cheer.
So, on Tuesdays I am turning off the stress of Downing Street,
And I curl up in a corner with the latest fine broadsheet,
Whilst Chris Deacy he regales me with heady tales of yore,
Such nostalgia is uplifting and really never bores.
It’s more than I can say for the PMs who’ve lived here,
They tend to sap the energy of a cat who is top tier.
Oh, from one till four on Tuesdays my life is so serene,
So thank you to Chris Deacy and the Cabin FM team.’
