this was so interesting. You said all that I’ve been thinking. I’m sure, collectively, we all shared that nostalgia. We all had memories, and I did look with, just like you said.
I don’t think we will ever have those times or such a steadiness as we had when the Queen was alive.
I never met her, but I feel her loss is still palpable.

This is so kind of you, Cheryl, thank you. Yes, I found the nostalgia to be especially powerful around that period. I was struck by how so many people from different communities, age groups, and even countries, found a common humanity through the passing of the Queen. And it was so lovely to be able to chat about all this yesterday!
