This week’s guest is Marion Stuart whom I interviewed on Cabin at the Movies in May 2025, and who sadly passed away just over a week ago.
Looking back, I suspect Marion may even have been one of the very last people still alive who remembered seeing Bambi when it was first released in the early 1940s. She also told me how she went to see Ben-Hur night after night because she had fallen in love with Charlton Heston!
These are just some of the films Marion came on the show to talk about. Listening back now, it’s a particularly poignant interview, touching as it does on loss, remembrance and honouring those who have meant so much to us. Perhaps it’s fitting that this should be my final recorded conversation with Marion.
The show also features a look back at this week in movie history and there are reviews at the end of the latest releases including Power Ballad.
