This week I was joined by fellow Cabin FM presenter David Cloake, making his second appearance on Cabin at the Movies.

David chose and discussed some terrific films, including Blade Runner, Empire of Light, Escape to Victory, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Get Carter — with plenty of conversation about what makes these movies memorable.

I was also joined by Katherine Shannon from Kent Film-makers, who talks about an important film event taking place in Ramsgate this September.

Katherine has also just made a film which won the Best Comedy Award at the Berlin Film Festival, and she tells me all about the film, the award and what’s coming next.
